Most amazing thing about this tournament is how tiny the organising team was compared to all other MWCs. This idea was popular enough to return for MWC99, but in MWC00 only three entries were posted before the idea was dropped. It also had a semi-serious narrative that ran parallel to the tournament. Despite not being played on Myth II, it had all the hallmarks of a Myth World Cup - based on a system organised by the infinite wisdom of Butcher, in depth reviews of lots of the games, a state of the art website and the biggest Myth tournament of the year. For those who can't recall the details of their past MWCs or just weren't there in the first place I have prepared a history of this venerable tournament dedicated to all the fine people who organised it, did work for it and of course - played in it. I plucked out two that I set aside for myself - the Believe poster, and the Silent Cartographer piece - and then let my two daughters each pick one of their own. The posters are all on stiff card stock, very good quality, and arrived in perfect condition. The seven posters and cover laid out, with the game case for scale. The cover names each piece, lists the artists and provides some brief information lending some background about them.
